I wanted to like the HEMI, but after driving both the 3.6 and 5.7 back to back on a 90 degree day, the HEMI was a huge disappointment. Anyway, noticed recently that on gentle acceleration - as in 1-2cm of acclerator movement - the car stutters. It's almost like the engine isn't getting enough air or fuel or something! If you accelerate harder then it's smooth and strong. Was just Oil leaks on a 5.7L hemi. Just discovered that I have an oil leak. The oil pan is wet with oil and if the jeep sits long enough I see spots on the ground. I haven't dove into investigating it yet. My '08 5.7L HEMI has used 1-1.5 quarts between oil changes since new. Now has 152K miles. It also uses more if I bring the pan oil level up over the midpoint of the dipstick center section.
