I have Office Professional Plus 2016. I am signed into my Microsoft/office account, but it hasn't made a difference to thinking the product is licensed, it is the account I used to set up the program. I have misplaced the key, and none came in the email sent to me in 2016; I purchased the program through HUP in 2016. Troubleshoot activation errors. The title of the video is ''How to activate MS Office 2019 using telephone activation without calling Microsoft'' But, I didn't followed the video guide. Launch the software, says it's not activated. Go to change the key, input the key and get the following error: "This product key is for the volume-licensed version of Microsoft Project Standard 2016, which isn't currently installed. To use this product key, contact your administrator". I have installed Microsoft Office 2019 on a machine which is not mine. It was only helping someone else. I have entered my Account only to confirm if all is OK, it activated correctly. I have not been aware of that this account seems to be permanently associated with that Key. .
